Taste Champagne London Update

The uncertainty surrounding the duration of lockdowns, travel bans and mass events has led us to make the difficult and regretful decision to postpone
Taste Champagne London 2020 to 10 March 2021.

All tickets will be automatically carried over to the new date. Your support in sticking with us through this challenging time, simply by holding your tickets, would be tremendously appreciated. Of course, if you are unable to make it, a refund will be offered.

The impact of coronavirus on champagne is particularly acute as a luxury and celebratory product, making this a tough year for every grower, house and importer. We are resolutely committed to bringing Taste Champagne back stronger than ever, to reconnect you with champagne and its stories and people. Your support means everything to them and to us. Champagne is the beverage of celebration, and goodness knows we’ll all have more reason than ever to celebrate when we finally come through this!

As a representative of one of the houses said to us recently, “Be sure that on our side we keep corks ready to pop and we pile up a huge inventory of love and happiness to spread on a recovering world!” Bring on that day!

Taste Champagne is proud to introduce specially focused masterclass sessions for the first time, hosted by Champagne’s top houses.

Tickets are available now and places are strictly limited.

The depths and heights of Veuve Clicquot

‘No house has achieved so much on such a scale over the past decade as Veuve Clicquot. This masterclass explores the depths
of its fabled reserve cellar and the profound impact on its non-vintage cuvées, and the heights that this beloved house
achieves in its lauded prestige cuvées, La Grande Dame Rosé 2008 and La Grande Dame 2008 and 1989!’ – Tyson Stelzer

You know Veuve Clicquot for its Yellow Label, the famed icon and signature of the house since 1877. This session is all about
exploring the brand’s history and understanding the innovations of the house, with hidden gems such as Extra Brut Extra Old
and most notably the champagne that owes its extraordinary history to one pioneering woman, La Grande Dame! We will be showcasing
the current vintage of La Grande Dame 2008 (blanc and rosé) as well as diving into our cellar to enjoy the rarity of La Grande Dame 1989.
